Because I know Tara wants me too...
Step One
- Make a post (public, friendslocked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
- If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you.
Step Two
- Surf around your friendslist (or friendsfriends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part:
- If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use - or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free - do it. You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf - to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not - it's your call.
There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just... wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.
1)An LJ name change code. Cloudyhead is so elementary school.
2)Icons for me or any of my boys!
3)Icon Space/Accounts for me or especially for Alex or Tommy
4)Old toys, anything you want to get rid of. I love old ponies, care bears, polly pocket (my roomie loves them), power rangers and even other things! I've gotten some great custom pony parts from taking apart other toys.
5)Hufflepuff fic/artyes that includes Ernie/Blaise *coudghcough*
6)XP fic/art
7)Silly plottage. Too much plotting is so serious, I'd love some completely off the wall plot that's just silly and fun. For MI, XP or Ren!
8)A smooth major transistion. Again, not something anybody can help with but I just am wishing so badly everything goes okay.
9)Hokies to win the ACC again and the Redskins to make playoffs. I know, no one can helps with these but a girl can wish right?
10)I'm going to go BAAA! And say Christmas Cards. I'm getting them from pony people and now some MI people, but I would love more!
Yey, done. That was actually hard and alot of it is just stuff I can't do right now because of no jobs. And I'm no expecting anything, alot of it is just going to wait untill next summer when I have a steady job again. College is hell on money for online stuff.
BUt I am willing to make ponies *nods* just, not untill after Christmas. Swamped right now.
