Jan. 19th, 2003 06:32 pmI had a very relaxing weekend, cold but relaxing. It's so cold in this house! Mom even tried to light a fire but it still wasn't warm enough! So finally I went upstairs, go under the covers and turned on the heating pad...and fell asleep. Well you win some and you lose some.
Actually I have all my homework done except the English timed writing and fixing my portfolios. Have had time to make lots of icons which is good since I promised to make some for lots of people. Had lots of fun find pictures. I want to make some Joe Millionaire ones (especially one with Heidi on it that says "Iodine Enima!" lol) but can't find any sites with good pictures...dman!
Didn't go to Cafe Misque and I'm sad I missed it. I had to work Friday and on Saturday it was too late by the time I had finished my Physics homework and realized what time it was. Hope you guys all did fantastic, which of course you did!
You know, I've actually been watching alot of tv lately. This morning I watched a Power Ranger Reunion marathon. Some were really weird (PR in Space and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? And when did they get a female turtle!?) and some didn't belong in the marathon (like why did they play "World Apart" For Time Force instead of "Time for Lightspeed" Which is the actaul reunion episode with the Lightspeed rangers...). Wow I know way to much about Power Rangers now...this is rather sad...
Anyway, I was watching the Time Force/ Wild Force cross (actually my dad taped it for me! *giggles*) and they were doing a battle scene between the three mut orgs and Wes and Eric and in the background (I swear!) was the Long Beach Convention Center where I spent the worst weekend of all last year for the Girl Scout Convention. It had whales painted on the side and had a glassed in stair case going up the side. Kind of hard to miss. So now we know what poor city gets subsituted for Angel Grove/Silver Hills/Mariner Bay/Turtle Cove. Long Beach CA.
That's about the highlights of my weekend. Really want to go see Nicholas Nicklby tomorrow.
