So, after doing lots of calling and not getting through to people over the last few weeks, I went to Downtown to talk to one of my old bosses. Apparently, there are full time jobs available at my old stores, Disney just won't open them to be filled. It's frustrating the managers because they need the people and damnit, I want that job, but Disney is keeping up with the freeze, which no one understands because Lori said that they've been packed the entire holiday season, bad economy or no.
She said things might change after New Years. My self imposed dateline is January 5th. After that, I start actively looking for another job. Cross your fingers.
