A lot of good and a lot of bad happened last night.

But I think the key thing we did find out is that our nation still believes in HOPE.

As long as there isn't a Federal Amendment, there is hope. And even if one passes eventually, there is still hope. That's the great thing about this country. Nothing is set in stone. As long as we have hope, we can make this country whatever we want it to be. It just takes time and patience, but we'll get there. Like we've done with so much else.

Just remember HOPE.

Yes. That. That right there. I think that's why I have such faith in the system, even when I can't stand the people in the system. Change is built in, and that's an amazing thing.

And it's something that we take for granted. I think people forget how lucky we are to have a country like this, that we CAN change by the power of our voice.
