littlesilveredI just went to my last Redskins game at FedEx field. It was amazing.
Well, actually, the game was kind of boring XD There wasn't a score until the middle of the third quarter and then it was exciting from that point on. The Skins held the Browns at the 1 yard line for four downs at one point. And we had fans run onto the field, I've never seen that! One of the Redskins turned around and tackled one of the guys. And finally, they won 14 to 11! It was a great game to say good bye too. *sniff*
I'm commemorating this event with a new icon of my man, Jason Campbell, the quarterback. Ironically, he was the QB for Auburn in the Sugar Bowl my freshman year when they slaughtered my Hokies, but I forgive him.
I miss FedEx field already. I love going to football games. The energy is just something that can't be described. You come home exhausted because of the shouting and yelling and jumping up and down and cheering and just in general adrenaline. I've even taken friends who don't normally like footbal to both Hokie and Skins games and they love being there. There's nothing like it.
And now I'm exhausted since I had to up early to finish packing. I'm going to pick at tags while mom and I watch Amazing Race but then I'm going to bed, so if I don't get to you, I will tomorrow. Promise. Suzi, I know I've owed you yours for a few days, I'm sorry!
