Mar. 4th, 2008 09:18 pmAhhh Spring Break. I needed you. And it's a good one. I have nothing to do except dogsit (Riley this time, a cute Wheaton), catch up on school work, do tags (when the internet works), spend time with my mother and watch Smallville. It's wonderful.
I've almost finished Season One and I started on...Sunday? I forgot how addicting this show is...and how good the music is. Damn.
I'm going into DC by myself tomorrow to the National Gallery to do some research for my paper. I'm kinda of excited. Only I would get excited about a day of sitting and taking notes on painting all day.
I'm also writing resumes for a Disney intership. Right now the four I'm going for are Wedding Planer Assistant, Magic Kingdom Special Events, Retail Management and Vetrinary Assistant. Ironically, the last one I want the most and technically I'm the least qualified for because I'm not a Bio major. It kind of sucks but I'm hoping the nine years working at Pender will override that.
I'm tempted to do the pup round up, for all nine of them (plus the couple maybes) but I think I'd piss some people off, so I'm not. At least the TR ones anyway, Alex and Tommy is might helps and actually...I don't know what I'd say for Tyzonn and ID!Xander. So I might do it for Alex and Tommy...maybe.
Lex...stop making me love you with your random history references. He quoted a David painting last night. And I forgot how awesome John Glover was as Lionel. And how annoying Lana is.
Mom and I saw The Other Bolyn Girl today. It was pretty and okay, but disappointingly, not like the book. I love that author's books, I've read all of them about Henry and his wives so that was kind of a disappointing. I mean, that one isn't my favorite (read The Constant Pincess about Catherine of Aragon. That one is Amazing!) but it was still better written then the movie.
Oh Whitney...I forgot how much this show was about daddy issues.
Alright, that's my ramble for tonight. Need to get some sleep tonight cuse of going into DC tomorrow. oh Sleep...
EDIT: Okay so Riley is deathly afraid of thunderstorms. Given, I only heard thunder twice but still it was enough to have him shivering my lap for most of the night. I'm going to DC Thursday, too tired if I went today
