So, it's snowing here in Blacksburg, like really snowing. Tech hasn't canceled class which isn't so much my problem, since my car can handle the snow. I'm just afraid of some little NOVA girl in their Prius trying to get out in the snow, because OH YES they haven't plowed our development where a shitload of students live and while my car is fine, I'd rather NOT get killed by someone whose car isn't.
Is class really worth this? Really?
EDIT: After going outside with Mattie and both seeing two cars skid on my street AND the tire tracks from those who did venture out this morning being covered up in front of my eyes with not snow, but freezing rain? I'm calling a personal snow day. If my professors ask, I'm going to be honest and say I felt it wasn't safe.
Also, in less important news, Han is still never getting an item. Joy.
