I just got home from an Eagle ceremony honoring the achievements of a young man I've known since he was little and babysat him everyday when he and his older brother came home from school.
I went to check my gmail as always and saw that someone I RP with online had died. She'd been sick apparently and when she stopped answering her phone, her friends went to check on her and she was dead.
I'm still slightly in shock. I haven't quite gotten to the crying stage everyone else seems to be in yet since I found out hours after everyone else. From celebrating a young life to finding out a young life had been snuffed out. It's a bit to take in.
Nat? I know we always joked that our pups all hated each other, but I never ever held it against you. I loved every thread we ever did and talking to you was a joy. I was very much looking forward to Stephan verse the spies. You were a wonderful writer and person. We will miss you.
To everyone else? I love you. Each and every one of you. I suck at saying it but I do. Just because you've never met someone in person doesn't mean a thing. This, and things like April 16th, are just reminders that the young don't always have time they think they do, no one does.
