Jul. 19th, 2003 09:34 pmIt's funny when your tired but you can't bring youself to go to bed because you don't want to lie there and think about things you could be doing. That's how I feel right now. I just spent a good 2 maybe 3 hours coding for a new website of mine and I don't want to stop. Plus I've started two stories that I want to finish but with Joey coming this week I know that isn't going to happen...*sighs*But seriously, it's getting so that I'm to tired to type straight...
Guess where I dissappeared to all week? Good ole' Captial Hill in the office of Frank W. Ballance Jr. Congressman from the 1st District of North Carolina. And during this week, I realised why I must work with animals...why it's my passion. I can't stand being confined behind a desk answering the phone and sorting mail. If I had to do it for more then a week, I might have gone insane! And dealing with people is not my thing, especially annoying lobbiests. The people in the office were really nice though, so it wasn't total hell on earth though it was up there with menstural cramps. And Congress isn't any better the Girl Scout Convention, squabbling over the pettiest of things. It's a shame that these are the people that lead our nation.
Done with that rant. Sorry had to get it out! Did see Pirates of the Caribbean again with AJ last night at 10 o'clock. Good, because I actually understood the curse this time but bad because it got out after the state curfew and mom was not please this morning. Am really tempted to go see it again...have weird obbcession with pirate movies now.
Lucy, check the Marvel site. I think it might help you. I'm going to go to the comic store the first week in August cuse that's when the new Ultimate comes out. Let me know if you want me to get you anything while I'm there.
Going to Six Flags on Monday. Did I mention Joey's in town? SOrry, really excited!
