LOTR- can't say a damn word
Jan. 8th, 2003 05:32 pmpretty boring day at school. I hate boring days, so want sleep!
Though I did have a very fun conversation with AJ during break. We're both reading LOTR and I told her that I was finally on the Two Towers. She told me she was still on Fellowship and I asked her where she was. She said she was at the Prancing Pony when the hobbits were talking to Sniper. "Sniper?" I asked and she said, "Whoops, I mean Striper." When she realized what she ahd said we both burst out laughing. I told her that she meant Strider and we kept talking. Then we got on how long the council is. The Council of Elrond, or Enron as AJ called it. It was quite amusing and we got lots of laughs out of it.
Stayed after to talk to Mrs. Talton. Found out that I'm not doing as badly as I thought and that I need to work on Topic Sentences.
Mrs. Cameron told us about an English Contest and Me and Mallary went to see Mr. Ketch about it. He seems really excited and he should be. The contest is a fiction contest, and you could get schlorships if you win. I really want to write something to submit but I don't know about what! Anybody have an idea?
