Because everyone else was doing it...
Step One
Make a post (public, friends locked, filtered...whatever you're comfortable with) to your LJ. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fandom-related ("I'd love a Snape/Hermione icon that's just for me") to medium ("I wish for _____on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new car/computer/house/TV.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.
Also, make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your LJ so that the holiday joy will spread.
Step Two
Surf around your friends list (or friends friends, or just random journals) to see who has posted their list. And now here's the important part: If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf—to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not—it's your call.
There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.
1.You want to know the way to my heart? Something for Mattie. She loves rawhide chews and treats, bandannas, rubber toys, soft toys...She's a 40lb mutt whose both lazy and active. Not to big on the outside toys though, then she just likes to run!
2. Icons/layouts for either me or my pups. I play Han Solo, Fiyero (as Taye Diggs), Micheal Novotny, Kim Philby (ala Cambridge Spies as Toby Stephans), Xander Harris (4th season ish), Alex Summers (as Ryan Gosling) and Tommy Jones (as Steve Sandvoss)
3. Crossovery drabbles. I love crossovers, I don't know why. Especially Power Ranger ones because it's very rare anybody does it very well. Plot ideas for pups are also very welcome, especially for Han, Kim and Tommy.
4. To graduate. Please god.
5. Christmas Cards! I want to send them to you too! Feel free to e-mail me addresses or link me to contact posts. I'll be making my own here this week.
6. Ponies! I don't care if it's one your cat ate the leg off of, because it came from you I'd love and keep it in my collection. When people give me childhood ponies I usually keep them even if I already have them because they are extra special. This applies to Rangers too or just any funky toys you'd think I'd like. I have Backstreet Boy Happy Meal Toys for Christ's sake! Or even better, if you get a new one and personalize it some how, even if it's just writing your name in sharpie across the symbol, I'd love it.
7. Go visit someone you care about or go somewhere you've never been. Yes you. We as a society don't travel anymore and that just sucks. Even if it's just driving up a few hours to see a landmark you've always meant to go to or say, fly to Vegas to meet people you know from the internet, just get up and go somewhere and then tell me all about it!

powerplushies for my pony persona stuffie. She needs her own Ranger dolls *nods*
I got nothing else. But surprises are fun too!
I'm already starting a list of wishes I plan on trying to grant from lists already posted so please! Post yours so I can pick something off it to grant!
